ICT-Berufsbildung Schweiz (ICT Vocational Training Switzerland)

ICT-Berufsbildung Schweiz is the professional organisation operating nationwide for the occupational field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
The association creates the prerequisites for a sufficient number of adequately qualified talented young ICT professionals, geared towards the requirements of the economy and public administration bodies and attuned to international standards.


The economic association SWICO is the voice of suppliers of ICT (hardware, software, services), consumer electronics and the print and photography sectors. Together these companies employ more than 36,000 persons and generate annual sales in excess of CHF 20 billion.
SWICO represents the 400 affiliated companies in dealings with the public, politics and administration agencies. Furthermore, it supports its members by way of activities and services in respect of law, market research, copyright, industrial safety, the environment, energy and recyling.

The label "swiss made software" is used to promote the Swiss software industry, both at home and abroad. It is associated with the Swiss values of quality, reliability and precision – especially in software development.
This fact is also confirmed by the presence of numerous international corporations. It is not for nothing that companies like Google and IBM run local research and development centres.


swissICT is the principal representative of Switzerland as an ICT location and the largest professional association in the industry. swissICT brings together 3,000 ICT companies, user companies and individuals and is committed to furthering the industry’s cause both professionally and politically.
swissICT supports the exchange of information, pools requirements, publishes the leading salary survey, draws up ICT job profiles and presents the “swissICT Award”.

WinLink - ICT application cluster in the Lake Zurich/Lake Constance Region

WinLink was founded in Winterthur in 2004 with the aim of creating a platform in the region between Lakes Zurich and Constance for helping to improve ICT use and the general conditions of use.
The members, totalling around 70, are users of all sizes and branches of industry, ICT providers and educational institutions from vocational training right through to the universities of applied sciences. Our members are innovative and work throughout the region.
